On Thursday, Hooked on Fuzzies Shelter, Dawn and Don suffered yet another
ferret loss.

Misty was this special little girl who you couldn't help but love. She
had broken toes, and tumors. When she got to the shelter she couldn't
walk. They put her on meds, and soup. Slowly she learned to walk on her
crippled legs. She was never really fast. but that didn't matter to
her. She just trotted a long and played anyways. She was full of life
and love. She passed away peacefully in her hammock with her blanket
pulled up to her chin. She leaves behind 4 cage-mates and a lot of holes
in peoples hearts. She will be missed by all that knew her.

On Sunday, Pebbles passed away. Pebbles was a happy go lucky girl.
Nothing slowed her down and her cage-mate Bam-Bam is surely going to miss
his little girl.

Hooked on Fuzzies Shelter has had a lot of their babies pass away this
year. And with each one they feel the pain all over again.but they love
these kids so wouldn't trade having them in their lives no matter how
long or how short.

Most of their residents are permanent babies due to health problems or
age. You can see most of them, and the babies that just passed at the
