Luckily I missed the joke, so I will only say this as a general thing.
BIG, don't hide behind things like you stated the coyote chasing the
roadrunner stuff. Just because everyone else is doing it, would you? If
so, try some drugs, that will really open up your mind to brutal things to
do. We as a society have embraced the ethic of violence far to long.
Wild west mind set has come to the point our children are acting out our
fantasies. We must ALL be alert to react to the things that teach our
children that violence is okay. Judith

[Moderator's note: Judith, I understand your point. But even if I agree
that violence is too prevalent in our society (and actually, I do agree),
it is not my function as moderator to attempt to impose *my* morality on
the rest of the subscribers. I do try to keep to the generally acceptable
standards that our society expects, but the minute I start rejecting posts
because *I* don't happen to like what a poster is saying I stop being a
moderator and start being a censor. It's a tricky line -- not clear cut
at all -- but I feel that Bugs and Wiley Coyote are well enough accepted
that for me to restrict posts describing fictional violence to a fictional
animal is going too far. BIG]
