HELP! I've looked at the various sites that have info on the rescue
which only confused me. So then I emailed two people that are listed
as contacts for the rescue but to date have not received a response.

The Alberta Ferret Society would like to donate $500 to the Ferret
Dream House shelter to assist in the rescue but I'm having a hard
time doing so.

As a registered charity we have to account for all our funds which
means we need proof of where the funds went and what they were used
for. Sending it to SOS or ELF wasn't the answer because we are in
Canada and a donation would not eligible for a tax receipt [which we
couldn't use even if we were eligible]. So after much discussion the
Board has decided that the best way to help would be to order some
food on-line and have it shipped directly to the shelter. That way we
would have an invoice showing what was purchased and where it went.

The AFS has approved the purchase of $500 worth of food for Ferret
Dream House Shelter.

My question is this. What brand(s) of food(s) to order, which on-line
store to order from [as in cheapest, free shipping etc] and ARE ANY
OF THE ON-LINE STORES WILLING TO MATCH OUR ORDER - NOTE:THIS IS A
CHALLENGE!
