Thank you all for your kind responses and concern - According to Julie,
the little fuzzy has found a home with a gentleman who has been on a
shelter adoption waiting list for some time in San Antonio (just an hour
from Austin).  He's even already been through the entire adoption process.
The little one will go home in a few days.
