For those of you who were among the crowd at "Ferretstock" last year you
will enjoy reading the fun-draising tips for clubs / shelters in the issue
29 edition of Modern Ferret Magazine which is arriving in the mail now!

For those of you who may want to catch Ferretstock II this coming September
you can get a feel for what the event will be (but more new things will be
happening!). The bear Woody & his ferret Dude which are pictured in the
column will be raffled at the 2001 event! The repeat Ferretstock event
will feature a dessert auction which will benefit ADV research and the
shelter ADV testing fund. Some of the famous bakers are Dr Karen Purcell
with her fantastic cheesecakes, shelter Dad Dino with his awesome choclate
cake & carrot cakes, hospice Mom Judy and her magnificent chocolate fudge &
baklava , shelter Mom Donna Spirito of the Educated Ferret has pledged some
of her wonderful sweet confections as well. There will be a prize for
the creator of the dessert that brings the highest bid at the Ferretstock
dessert auction! Those wishing to register baked goods and sweets for this
years ADV fund auction are encouraged to email the shelter at the above
email address.

Not to be overlooked is the WONDERFUL story of Sean & Rocky you won't want
to miss this real human interest and pro ferret profile! Looking forward
to issue #30 and those albino ferret stories! Thanks Mary & Eric for
continuing this great publication.
