Hello, and thanks to everyone who was so kind as to send me encouraging
e-mail/information regarding their finicky ferrets. Meeko has finally
decided to nibble at a few things offered. Cranberries are a hit, but only
if pre-chewed (mommy bird style!), peanut butter is a definite yes, as she
practically licks my finger off, and believe it or not she jumped at my
plate of alfredo sauce. She has also decided Ferratone is acceptable. I am
limiting her access to these yummies to one taste a day, but it is great to
find some temptations.

The other reason for my writing is to ask if there are any fellow ferreteers
out in the Tally area? I'm sure there must be.

A third reason for bothering you guys is to ask if adding an additional
ferret to the family at this time is too soon. Meeko is 13 weeks now and we
have had her for two weeks. Everyone adores her and is pretty willing to
help clean her accidents and maintain her cage. I'd love to see the antics
of two fuzzies enjoying each other.

Thanks for letting me pick everyone's brains. The FML has been a godsend,
especially for such a novice as myself. Thanks again to all who contacted
me.

Sharon & Meeko.
Fuzzy hugs to all.
