We last left the FML Story where Jules had the Evil Count HissHiss
proclaiming himself Lord of the Dookdom.  The story was passed to
Linda Iroff - Linda wrote:
 
"Now that I am Lord over this Dookdoom, I shall marry you within the
hour!" Count Hiss-Hiss declared.  "And guards, take that young Dook
hob to the dungeon, and see that he is no longer a hob!"
 
Christianaferret gasped in horror, but the young Dook smiled at her
bravely as he was dragged away by two large badgers.
 
"Take her to her rooms," the Count ordered two of his other henchmen.
"And see that she prepares herself for the wedding."
 
Christianaferret's brain was working furiously as she was taken back to
her rooms.  Just a few days ago she had left those rooms, worried about
the hob she was supposed to marry.  He turned out to be brave, kind and
true.  But now she was going to be married to the evil Count.  She had
to escape somehow, save the young Dook and find her father.
 
The badgers ushered her into her room.
 
"Very well!" she said imperiously, with a confidence she did not
really feel.  "If I must marry, then I must look my finest!  Send me
a jill-in-waiting to help me dress properly!"
 
One of the guards left and came back a few minutes later, with a young
ferret that Christianaferret recognized as one of the jills who had
gossiped about the handsome Dook while drawing water.  Christianaferret
eyed her as the guard closed the door behind them.  The young servant
look very like herself in color and size...
