Thanks so much to everyone who gave me advice about the road trip we're
taking with the fuzzies!
 
One last question..............so many of you offered that we should take
the ferrets out on a leash during stops so they can wander around.  How
cold is too cold for a ferret to get out and wander around???
 
For giggles, a while back we took Trixie outside on her leash during a
snowstorm.......so she could see snow for the first time.  Nope......she
hated it.  She stood there shivering and looked at us like "TAKE ME IN
NOW!!!" But Buddy, who isn't leash-trained yet, went out in the snow and
had a heyday, bouncing, snorkeling..........it was hilarous.  (We have
decided our ferrets have NOTHING in common.)
