Hi, I just started getting this newsletter and I think it is great!!! Very
informative and educational!

My problem is with my 1 year old fert "Fred". He is an only child (at
least of the ferret variety) and he does get to spend a great deal of his
time roaming the house with my 3 human children. When he is in his cage at
night or when we are gone he eats his blankie! I have to replace it every
few days and when he "poops" there are pieces of blankie in it! He really
loves his blankie, and I hate to keep it from him, but I am afraid it will
harm him. I though maybe getting him a companion ferret (and a second
child for us) would help. (Maybe he is bored?) Any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Chris, Fred and family
