I just bought one of those clear plastic Sheppard & Greene tubes for my
kids.

I was very surprised at what they came up with for "anti-skid" on either
end... it amounts to 2 strips of metal which you're supposed to bend around
the ends of the tube and crimp down, hard.

Well, they don't crimp down neatly and I cut myself 3 times in the process
of doing it!!! I wondered what they would do to ferrets' delicate feet.
So I've taken them off again for the meantime. Why does Sheppard & Greene
include something so dangerous in such a popular ferret toy?!?!
