Unfortunately this is not as good news at you think.  First of all I saw
the coming attractions for the movie in the theater over the weekend, the
ferret is dragged most of the time, and hits various ovbjects while being
dragged.......walls, garbage cans, etc.
 
Secondly, Ben Stiller was bitten by the ferret on the chin during the
filming of the lastr scene.  Made a big stink about it, got rabies shots
etc.  Very bad publicity.
