in my experience with stashing food kibble is a lot easier to pick up of
of carpet!  as for the banana problem.  i used the baby bananas or mashed
them up to a fine puree just so it wouldn't be stashed to rot away and
stink up the house!  i would put the banana in the food proseccor with a
little bit of pedialyte unflavored.  that way he would eat it and when
tried to stach it was always to runny to pick up.  had no problems
getting his lasik down either.  i would crush it up and place it in the
banana mush .  my cardio baby was the only one who ate it!  the other 2
hated the banana mush.
