Stuffy is getting the hang of living here.  Seriously.  He has been a
very laid-back, mild-mannered ferret since he moved in a few weeks ago.
However, he appears to have either been taking lessons, or finally just
letting himself go.  A few days ago, he murdered two defenseless plastic
bags.  They were just laying there, minding their own "business", when he
jumped inside of them and torn them to shreds!!!  Then, to add insult to
injury, he got on top of the pile of shredded and torn plastic and war
danced to beat the band!  You could just *hear* him singing "Happy, Happy,
Joy, Joy!!!"
 
Well, last night he was at it again.  This time though, the bag was a
little tougher and he wasn't able to tear through!  It was a plastic bag
that the newspaper comes in when they think it will rain (the bag is made
extra-tough, so that it will fill with rain-water, without leaking) and I
typically leave them out for general play.  He got in the bag and started
in.  Nothing happened.  He stopped and stared at the bag.  He started
again, but failed to impress the plastic.  I don't know if it was sheer
frustration, or just a change of plans, but he then flipped upright and
started to war dance *inside* the bag.
 
Of course, this brought an immediate response from several other of my
ferrets as they all rushed out to watch this unusual behavior.  Apparently,
Stuff looked as though he was having *way* too much fun in there by
himself, as several of the observers decided to join him inside the bag.
Ever see a long plastic bag with three ferrets trying to war dance inside?
Don't drink soda or milk while watching!
