Mine is dutch doors. They allow me to quickly shut in ferrets (faster
than the sliding plexiglass barrier we also have) while being able to
observe, and having one in front of the washer and drier closet permits
easy use of the drier without even opening the bottom of the door. We
are planning one on the pantry door, too, with the things we use most
often to be on the upper shelves.
