I am totally frustrated and ready to just give up so I am asking for
H-E-L-P from you, the FML knowledgeable people that always seem to have
the right answer. This is my problem. ANTS!!!!!!!! Them little SOB's
have taken over the kitchen and no matter what I do it simply does not
work. I have my ferrets cages in there as this is the coolest place with
the most room in the apartment to keep them. Their cages are cleaned daily
and food is not left in the bowls at night anymore. I have done everything
I can think of to get rid of these ants but nothing works. They crawl in
the cage where my ferrets are, the crawl in the food bowls during the day,
they crawl all over everything and I have not been using any pesticides
cause of the ferrets. I keep the kitchen clean, so clean a Marine Corps
Drill Instructor would give it a 5 star rating and damn if them ants still
keep coming back. I was so mad this morning I went out to the back of the
apartment complex dressed in my pajamas with a can of Raid in my hands and
figured that if I sprayed outside where the source is then the ferrets
would be safe. My next-door neighbor who has no pets says he has the same
problem and management could care less, as long as they get their rent, it
is our problem. Does anyone have any ideas cause this happens every year
and as much as my ferrets like new critters, the ants do bite them and they
are not too fond of something they can't bite back. --Diane--
