I currently work for Petco #706 in Hicksville NY.  We are still selling
ALL of our animals and are still getting our regular shipments of animals
in also.  This is despite the fact that the signs remain up,
 
The ban is intended to protect all the animals in the store including
those of customers as well as all people.  We too are now running a sale
on our ferret kits and they are selling rather quickly.  That is quite
different that just a few months ago, I am going to bring this issue to
the attention of upper management again and find out why we have our ban
in effect still when other stores do not.  Probably something to do with
the state Board of Health.  Thanks for making me aware!
