The Western New York and Finger Lakes Ferret Association (WNYFLFA) will be
holding it's first annual "Ferret Photos with Santa" fundraiser this coming
Saturday, November 13th from 10am-4pm.
 
For a very reasonable $5.00 donation to the shelter you get;
- Two poses with Santa, two 4X6 prints of each pose (four prints total)
  and the 35mm negatives.
- Best of all, you get a very ferret experienced Santa!
- Group photos are welcome.
- We're supplying coffee, cocoa, and snacks.
 
A local humane society is offering a smaller package for a whopping $20.00.
 
We have other ferret items as well; 2000 calendars, Christmas cards,
stationary, note paper, ferret angels, foods (including Totally Ferret),
hammies, new and used cages, etc..etc..  All proceeds from sales support
the shelter.
 
We were prompted to do this photo shoot after several of our club members
had their ferrets photographed with Santa at pet stores last year.  All of
them were very disappointed in the quality of the pictures.  First off,
they were taken at too much of a distance, or Santa didn't quite know what
to do with this "thing" he was holding (I actually saw a look of distaste
on one of the chubby fellows faces), or the quality was just plain bad
(Polaroid's).
