I plan to take Meep to the vet, but our vet while very caring is not real
strong on ferrets as a breed. Meep had a small spot on the outside of his
leg about a month ago - it almost looked like a pimple, or little chicken
pox. It didn't seem to bother him and I more or less forgot about it.
This weekend we noticed that in the same spot, is a larger area (about
as big around as a pencil eraser) and it looked like it had two little
blisters. He must have rubbed against something, but it caused it to
bleed, and has now scabbed over. All in all, it doesn't seem to bother
him in any way - he doesn't lick it or pay any attention to it. Good or
bad - what are the possibilities here that I should consider and talk
over with my vet?

I would appreciate any information you might have to share,

Karla
