Hi Nell,
 
Once upon a time in Columbia Missouri I lived with around 30 ferrets.  I
had privately bred ones, MF ones, some from a place I couldn't figure out
(strange tattoos) and a Canadian fert.
 
I had bought ferrets, shelter ferrets and rescued ferrets.
 
They all lived happily together, well except for the Canadian one
(figures those Canucks have to cause trouble) but that was due to her
own personality and being deaf.  She was not too happy with anyone but
me.  What can I say?
 
It is more about individual personality than anything else.
