I've posted this info on other boards, so this post is for those who
haven't come across it yet.  It's almost 2 weeks since this happened,
and this man is still in Neuro ICU.  He's going to have a lot of healing
to do physically, mentally and emotionally.  So if anyone is interested

IMHO, Mr. Serrano has shown a true and unwavering display of passion,
love and commitment to Mico and deserves at the very least, a gesture
of "goodwill" on behalf of the ferret community.  Not too many people
out there would risk their own safety for a human, let alone a
ferret...... Something as simple as a card, will go a long way for
him.
