Hi everyone, WOW, what a busy summer. Some of you may know already, my
foot is in a cast for six weeks (or until September). This put a HUGE
effect on my ability to do outside fundraisers because it is on my right
foot, which means I can't drive. So my fundraisers are limited to what
I can rope my husband into taking me to, or ebay sales. We got a ton of
great new kids in this past month, 18 in one week! They are such great
ferret kids: *Norbert and Daggett are late alter boys who just needed
time and attention devoted to them. They do poof, but that even has
been very limited now that they are getting love and attention.

*Sissy and Zorro are just adorable and friendly. Wonderful with kids.
Zorro is recovering nicely from his surgery and thanks to all the
wonderful sponsors, I got to put a NICE chunk on my bill down at Horsham
this past Friday/Monday when some ferrets had check up's and surgeries.

*Leotie and Destiny are doing pretty good. They were older ferrets I got
in and I was worry about them and dealing with the stress of being dumped
at the local shelter then switched to me. But they seem to be doing
well. They are in our group of oldies with Irwin and Anna.

*Nibble and Bandit are really nice ferrets for kids also, if anyone is
considering adoption. They are getting the attention they need now and
are having no more poodie box issues! YEAH!

*Cracker and Cheez-It. Funny names, just cracks me up everytime.
Cracker is a dooker. He can dook and bounce like Tigger. Cheez-it has
adrenal (exam by the famous Dr. Anna) and he and Sassy will have surgery
this upcoming month (August).

*Lizzy is the unspayed female found walking along a road. She is the
most friendliest girl and she is scheduled for surgery tomorrow (Friday).
She is going down with Calista (you remember her story about being
starved to death and gaining 13 ozs in one week). She still has issues
with trust and relaxing, but she is doing good. Her and Harrison will
finally be put up for adoption once she recovers from her surgery. She
will need a LOVING hand and a special person.

*Rickie Tickie (my tick infested boy) has suffered no effects from the
bites. The amoxi seems to have worked wonders again, and he is doing
great. He is a single guy (don't get many of these) and young, born in
2003. If anyone knows of someone who wants just one ferret, he would be
wonderful. He, at this point, does not like anyone. We are working on
that issue while he is here.

*Peaches and Bandit II are a super younger pair. They are both very shy
and are getting use to this place.

*Last but not least Spartacus and Louise. Spartacus came to me because
he did not use the potty pan while being a free roam ferret. He is great
here, and is a pleasure to have in my care. Louise is an older girl who
has made herself at home here. She loves her group of younger guys and
has taken on the mommy role of the group.

On Friday, we are getting in two more ferrets. Because I can't drive, my
shot clinic people are coming here to give vaccinations on Monday. With
21 ferrets to vaccinate (a couple need this years vaccinations, they have
been here for a year), we are in need of some funds! Our bill will be
over $300.00........YIKES! As of Friday our Horsham bill will be about
$2300.00. I need to come up with some very creative fundraising ideas
while in a cast! We did some more ferret painting and they are adorable.
We also have our online store for medical items and ferret related stuff
including Stef* artwork featuring ferrets. Please check out our auctions.

Many Thanks from the TinyPrints Ferret Rescue Crew
