As I have made friends and developed a network of acquaintances, I have
been asked many times, "How do you give the ferrets medicine, if you're
blind?" No, these people weren't being rude, and I didn't take any
offense at this query so oft raised. I was asked out of curiosity and
out of concern for the ferrets. It is better to be curious and ask the
question which concerns you, then keep in your mind full of worry which
may come to sour your perception of another person or organization.

So, I invite you all to stop over to http://ferretsatheart.com/ and
read our newest blog entry. I hope you find some humor in my
description of medicating the weasel hoard. I don't doubt you'll "see"
my passion for my work.

While you are on our website, the raffle links are ready and waiting
for you to click on them, begging for you to take a look at the myriad
of quality prize packages we have put together. No one has ever
complained about never receiving our prizes! It is a real raffle and
not for anyone's personal gain.

Thank you all for your support and kind words regarding my mother's
terminal cancer. I will be traveling to care for her during the month
of April with ferrets in toe. Other ferrets will be spread among my
wonderful friends. Adjusting to the eventual loss of my mother has
been a difficult road, which I am still on.

When I return from seeing Mom, I will have a very delicate eye surgery,
leaving me almost bedridden for twelve weeks. There is a hope that this
surgery will help me regain some of my sight, and Mom didn't want me
putting it off any longer; she wanted me to perhaps "see" her again
before she passed away.

The next few months will be long and trying, but I will keep you all
informed. You can always find me on our blog or at
