Unless things have changed significantly, only IMRAB-3 is USDA approved for
use in ferrets to vaccinate against rabies.  Use of any non-approved rabies
vaccine may protect the ferret against the disease, but not the authorities
where rabies vaccinations are required.
 
One other caution.  Even though I believe that practically all rabies
vaccines are now killed virus.  There MAY be a live-virus vaccine out
there.  Use of a live virus rabies vaccine risks giving the ferret rabies.
