Exhausted.

Midnight -- Steve asleep for 2 hours and I finally started to doze. Sceams
began rolling from ferret room. Ran in. Three little ones fine but all
wanting to get out as in "Someone is screaming and I do not feel safe here".
Warp has her head buried in one of her mounted running tubes abd is throwing
up and screaming. Not good. After much trying get her out -- mouth covered
with partly digested blood, more on hammock even though she was mostly
losing it in the tubes. Not good. Call vet. Sarah is on call. Logical
lady, kindf person, good vet. We meet her there. Spead an hour filling
Warp with carafate, progesteron, cytotec, sub-q fluids. Green runs all over
the place on the way home, but we already knew it was an ECE relapse
associated thing. Get her home. She's cold. Lie down with her in my
shiort. She puts her head on my nreast and sleeps but her body is ratled
with terrible shivering that won't stop. Sit up with Warp, heating pad,
thick towel. She stops shivering. Put her in large carry cage on the two
aerobic steps stacked next to bed (Don't do those exercises though do others
-- steps are platform for cary cage to be next to bed at head level in
emergency cases). She's grinding badly. Weave fingers through bars. Calms
her. She sleeps. Up a few times in night.

Happy face this morning sand warm. She's lready been bed guest again.

THIS is why we have to work lonf distance to help with things such as the
N.J. Quarantine RTime efort, cant go to meetings cvan't go to shows for a
long while, or to naywhere else where we'll see ferrets for a while. Can't
risk having others go through this. FOlks here in N.Jl SHOULD go to the
meeting with confidence that we won't be there but are still working as can.

Ws supposed to visit Dad and Blanche this coming week. dad will be like a
two year old about this so dread telling him it's postponed. Have to get
Warp stable first. That's a given. ECE and the secondary things are such a
pain. At least 'Chopper is almost bnetter agsain from recent bout and Spot
is stable and no longer losingf weight. Just a long haul since April with
this illness and know there may well be more ahead, and t's right after Ruff
ie and Meltie with theri cardiomyopathy and all year...
