Great point about how blockages are among the many things that can
cause lethargy, Suz! There's nothing like having a good vet one can
get to in an emergency!

Ferret at pet store: what sort of isolation and personal cleansing
procedures are being used to prevent spread if there is a contagious
disease or parasite? Last thing that you need to do is to send something
like ECE or coccidea to homes with other ferrets (or multiple animal
types with coccidea). Too much of that sort of spreading around out
there already. (We had a quarantine of a year for our guys when they got
ECE and did not even go into pet stores ourselves during that time since
it can be carried on clothing and shoes.) Please, be very, very careful.
To be safest read up on ECE at the single best place for info on it:
http://www.afip.org/ferrets/ECE/ECE.html to see if it MIGHT be that
as a cause. Sure hope not; that is quite a haul.
