Hello everyone,

First of all I wanted to thank all of you who wrote me during this
difficult time. I have never known such compassionate people who are so
willing to go out of their way for a virtual stranger. On Friday,
Jitterbug crossed the rainbow bridge. She had been suffering greatly
and wouldn't eat anymore - not even when I offered her raisins. So I made
one of the most difficult decisions of my life and had her put down. For
those of you who have inquired about Monkey, I have found her what I
believe is the perfect home. A young couple who have 2 female ferrets
of their own who are exactly the same age as monkey. The woman works at a
vet and I am confident that Monkey will be well cared for and much loved.

This will be my last posting and I wish you all well and happy ferreting.
On one final note, Monkeys new parents said they did not need her large 3
story cage, smaller cage, litterboxes, travel carrier, hammock, water
bottles etc. As I am trying to offset the vet bills that I am left with,
I have decided to sell these items. I am not trying to make bucks off of
this tragic experience, only recover somewhat financially, so will only ask
1/3 of their cost or less. If you are interested, some of these things are
really nice. Please contact me via my e-mail address [log in to unmask]
Again, thank you all so much for your kind words and prayers, mine will be
with you always.

- Rebecca
