Hello, everyone!

I'm posting in the hopes of setting up a network of Scandinavian,
preferably Swedish, but any country in the area, even Northern Europe will
do. I'll be moving over there with my crew sometime this spring or summer,
and I have 2 lovely hobs as well as my pets. I was considering offering
them for stud services, as they're both unusual in that part of the world.
One is a silver-mitt with perfect mitts and bib and is of the "bulldog"
type, large and beautiful. Almost too cute to be real when you look in
his face. <grin> The other is a lovely German chocolate mitt, only 3.5
months old right now, and already as large as my "normal" American ferrets,
none of whom were neutered before 9 months of age. (All rescues.) I was
given to understand that the mitted colors are harder to find in Europe
than in the states? Is this true? The rest of my kids are a sable and
two albinos, all neutered/spayed.

If anyone in the general area could mail me, I'll be living in Stockholm
once I get over there to join my husband, and I'd love to have ferret
friends of any kind before I leave the states. Breeders, owners, fans,
whatever! Just ferret friends. :) All of mine have been exposed to ECE
and are no longer carriers. As for Aluetians, I'll have them tested when
we go in for shots soon. It would be great if we could set up play groups
or if anyone is interested in breeding to one of my boys, to know in
advance. Or, if nothing else, just to know someone in advance! <gulp>
Big move, having never been to Sweden before!

Anyway, if anyone within reasonable distance (as stated above) would mail
me back and let me know what it's like in the ferret community over there,
I'd *really* appreciate it!

Thanks in advance!

P.S. Yes, I know about the 4 month quarantine, and yes, it's going to kill
me. <sob>
