Dee made it through surgery with flying colors! It turns out, she had
a HUGE ovarian tumor that made up about 1/5 of her body weight. It was
successfully removed. On Saturday, Dee went back to her long time mate,
Phil. The reunion was very sweet to see and Dee spent a lot of time
grooming and trying to snuggle Phil. Auntie Bonnie, uncle Nigel and
mommie just stood there and watched and said "Awwwww...how sweet!"

Since many of the volunteers were having trouble telling the difference
between our albino boys, Spirit, Kaie and Pogue, mommie "colored" their
hair. Pogue got a red stripe, Kaie got a blue one! Kaie stuck his nose
in the food coloring and his nose was blue for about 3 days lol!

The shelter kids and volunteers are a buzz with excitement! Dr. Karen
Purcell is coming here for a visit on January 8th! She'll be staying at
the shelter with mommie and you know, those two can get up to a lotta
trouble when they want to!

Billy & Eclipse are coming back to the shelter (from Camp Paige) on
Tuesday to spend the holidays and hopefully find a foster/permanent home.
Keep your fingers crossed for these two adorable kids who have been
through hell and back!

All my love, Harley "Bug"
