Hello....
 
I'm a new ferret owner [it's been almost TWO weeks now!!] and I have a
couple of questions that I was hoping someone here on the list might be
able to help me with.
 
First, I was wondering what is the best kind of litter to use in Oscar's
[his full name is Oscar T (for TROUBLE!!) Wigglebum!!...sorry....I
digress... but the name suits him PERFECTLY!! ;-) litter pan.  The stuff
I'm using now seems to be slightly dusty and I was wondering if this is
something that I should be concerned with or if it's okay.  As well....
sometimes after he uses it I have noticed that he has some of the litter
stuck right onto his bum.  Is this normal??
 
My second question is regarding flea treatments.  I was wondering if it's
okay to use flea drops that you can purchase from pet stores oposed to
something like Advantage??
 
I would *really* appreciate any and all help that anyone can offer me.
Oscar is such a sweetheart and I only want to do what is best for him!
Any other tips or advice are also always welcomed!  Thanks again!
