Hello All,
This is my first time writing so I will introduce myself. I am Cheri! I
have a couple quick questions. First of all, is there any easy way to train
a ferret to walk on a leash? I tried to take her walking with my dog a
couple of times but I ended up carring her most of the way. Next I recently
bought a new baby feret (last weekend). I also bought a new cage. When I
introduced my new ferret to my old one they had a difficult time but they
were also in a new place. The big problem is that my old ferret, Sweeche,
is used to using scoopable cat litter so I filled the new pan with the
scoopable litter and put some poop in it. The new ferret immediately
started to dig and burrow in it. I knew this wasn't good so I took it out
and bought some regular cat litter. Well Sweeche hated it and climbed in
the pan and pushed all the little out on the floor. I am not sure what kind
of litter to use. I am currently using the regular kind and it seems to be
a little better but the new ferret (6 weeks old) thinks it is her bed. I do
have some towels in there and every time I catch her I move her on to the
towel but it doesn't seem to be working. Can anyone give me any advise?

Thanks,
Cheri
Sweeche (Mom what's with all this new stuff??)
