Hi! I have a couple of questions that I've been wondering about.

First, today I picked up Mrs. Allen's Shed Stop for my fuzzbutts. Even
though they all have their summer coats, they've been shedding a bit too
much (nothing like when they are getting their summer coats, though) and
thought I'd try this, since I've heard nothing but great things about it.
My question is....I give them a tiny bit of Ferretone (a squirt on their
belly) at night before bedtime. The Shed Stop says you give each ferret
one tablespoon daily for, well, it really doesn't say how long. It says
you should see results in 4 to 6 weeks. Should I give them the Shed
Stop exclusively at night with no Ferretone, give both, or what? The
ingredients are as follows: Safflower, Sunflower, Olive and Soya oils
(source of Vitamins A, B Complex, E, Linolenic and Linoleic Acids),
Lecithin, Natural Flavors and Herbs, and Zinc. No water added.

Gauranteed Analysis: Crude Protein not less than 3%, Crude Fat not less
than 86% (this seems like a high number!), Crude Fiber not more than 1%,
and Moisture not more than 1%. They all eat a mix of Nutro Max Kitten
food, 8 in 1 ferret food, Shepard and Greene ferret food, ProPlan kitten,
and I think there's one more, but I can't remember....Their ages range
from 5 months to almost 4 years old. I just don't want to OD the poor guys
on anything! :)

Next thing...Calvin is a Panda/Mutt sorta thingy :) He's white, with a
grey back. Lately he's been getting orange in spots. One is by his ears
(I keep them as clean as I can) which the vet said not to worry about (I
didn't know if it meant his ears were dirty). Is this anything I should
be worried about?

Thanks for any help you can give!
