Just heard on the news that a man in Shiawasee county has been jailed for
refusing to disclose the location of his ferret to Animal control after an
alleged bite incident.
 
I am sure (hopeful!) that this post won't be the only one on tonight's FML
but I just thought I'd mention that the newscast made a point of posting the
time and location of the arraignment for this guy.  Its 4pm on Tuesday and
the Shiawasee COunty courthouse in Corunna, MI I don't really know if this
was a discrete message to ferret owners or what but it did strike me as
unusual.  I mean they actually flashed a screen with the info.  displayed.
 
Otherwise, all they said was the man's name (which I forget) and that it
involved the alleged "nipping" of a 7 year old boy.
