Thank you Nancy for pointing out that we can still give on behalf of
the little ones who have already passed.

I found that many shelters who had posted ferrets which had were either
close to or had already passed on were still left with some quite hefty
Vet bills to clear so, although I chose some living healthy ferrets
from some shelters I also sent funds on behalf of others no longer with
us. The brilliant thing was that, because I am in Australia and it is
quite difficult to send/choose gifts, I was able to send funds via
Paypal; thanks to all my recipient shelters for letting me know funds
have been received.

My thanks also to Troy Lynn Eckhart for guidance on how the whole
Giving Tree thing works; this being my first time I found it rather
daunting but will know better next time :-(
