For those of you who have had the privilege of meeting Harvey and Helga,
you know how much they love their ferrets and how much they have done
for the ferret community in general and FURRY (shelter in St.  Louis) in
particular.
 
I have some sad news: Harvey has pancreatic cancer.  Helga is caring
for him and their 16 ferrets, and she is very upset and unhappy.  When
I talked to her yesterday, she said that she doesn't have time to check
her e-mail, but I know they would love to get cards or phone calls from
friends.  And anyone who lives in the St.  Louis area, take this
opportunity to go visit them, maybe help with the ferrets.

the ferret community will come together for these wonderful people.
