If you wish to feed raw diet, I strongly recomend that you join the
holistic ferret forum. The forum can assign you an experienced mentor
who will guide you through the switching process, help you develop a
personalized feeding schedule that meets your individual requirements,
and answer any quetions you may have.

Please note that feeding whole prey requires feeding multiple meat
sources as well as multiple ages of prey to ensure the nutritional
needs of your ferret are met.

Here is the link to the Holistic Ferret Forum:

Regardng your specific qustion, most people feed raw frozen foods twice
a day. many raw feeders also provide freeze-dried raw dets for between
meal snacking.

[Moderator's note: This is the 4th time in 3 days that the proboards
forum was mentioned. It's great people are mentioning resources such as
that, and certainly don't mind mentioning them, but further mentions
not accompanied by other info will be rejected as duplicates, just as
I do with any other repeated duplication. BIG].
