Gosh. Must have been a tight fit. ;)

I know about that lovely sound of ferrets digging around or in litterboxes.
For me, it's one particular ferret, Luthe, who likes to dig in the box and
throw litter out all over the bottom of his cage and the floor. And it's
not the sound that bothers me as much as the mess. What I've resorted to
lately is a spray bottle, the kind you can buy for misting plants or
what-not. Set it to make a stream and give her a squirt when she starts
digging. Or, since she does this only when you go to bed, you might try
letting her out for half an hour or an hour before bedtime, and let her
wear herself out. She might just decide to go to sleep when you do.

On treats, I have one ferret, Wicket, who will eat just about anything
edible. The other day he ate a dead fly. It was crunchy. Ugh. I said "No
kisses from you anytime soon!" He has also eaten bits of tortilla chips,
pizza cheese, chocolate breakfast cereal (Cocoa Puffs), Cheerios, noodles,
and probably a lot of other things I've forgotten about, though I've never
given him veggies. He's got the most varied tastes of anyone here. His
motto is "Are you going to finish that?"

Karen ("I'm going to buy stock in vacuum cleaner bags")
Luthe ("Must...dig...to...China...")
Wicket ("Food? Where?!")
