I believe if you are only going to have one ferret then there should be
alot of interaction between you and your fuzzy.  I would kind of relate it
to having an only child.  I had only 1 ferret for about a year and a half.
Getting a second was the best thing I ever did for me and for my ferret.
But in some cases that's not alway a choice.  I didn't like the idea of
Taylor being in a cage for 8+ hours by her self.  If nothing else, they
keep each other company when I'm not home.  And I'm sure it's kind of nice
to snuggle with someone.
