In some ways I have to agree that if there is no quality of life then the
pet should be put to sleep. I know from past experience as I am sure
everyone here can agree we are doing our pets the kindest thing we can do.
But if there is a chance then we should try to take that chance. I know
when I had to help Banjo to the Bridge there was no hope for him. So the
kindest thing I could do was to let him go. I work in the Medical field
and when it comes to let your loved one go or to help them if there is a
chance more times you will find that family will hang on. NO ONE WANTS TO
DIE!! I know I do not, not if there is a chance. Our pets do not know the
meaning of give up only we as humans do. They will go and go as long as
they can. We are the ones that have to let go. I am not slamming anyone
here just my 2 cents worth..May God bless all those fuzzies that are sick
and those that have been loss..
