Greetings,
We have been reading the FML off and on for over two years. We recently
moved to Germany, and were out of LURK mode for a couple of months. One
observation. I keep seeing Ferrets and the word Exotic ending up in the
same sentence. Whether that happens to be in an add for a Pet Store or just
recently by a Ferret breeder. Being associated with the Army, I will tell
you that the Ferret is banned because the Army classifies them as "EXOTIC!"
So, I find it alarming that, as we try to move Ferrets closer to the main
stream of pet ownership, that even Ferret people keep allowing EXOTIC and
FERRET to land so close to each other in adds, literature what have you.
Just one owners opinion of course, but Exotic is the word that raises all
the barriers in my world!

                        Regards,
                           SOUP
