Baby ferrets honk - they naturally outgrow it when they are "naturally"
weaned - since the majority of the baby ferrets sold are not "naturally"
weaned, many of them are still honking when adopted.
 
It's nothing to worry about - he's really looking for his Mom - it just
means your baby was too young to be sold yet.
