I just got a call from the Humane Society.  The animal control officer has
finally caught a loose white ferret.  He will only allow the ferret to go to
rescue.  (This is a first - he has always insisted that they be put down
immediately).  I am not a shelter but have volunteered to take the ferret
till I can either find a home or transfer it to a shelter (which I believe
are mostly full).  So there is a ferret available in Battle Creek MI to a
good home.  I'll be getting it it's shots first thing.  Spread the word!
