I just wanted to clear up something for everyone. In California, it
is legal to have ferrets. It is just illegal to sell or buy them in
California. It just got changed this year due to the fact that all
stores now sell ferret food, toys, cages, etc. Because if you were to
look at it logically, stores would not be able to sell ferret merchandise
if it were illegal to have them.

I just wanted to let everyone know, no hard feelings.

[Moderator's note: No, no hard feelings, but you are incorrect. The law
has not changed, nor is the selling of ferret food in California a recent
occurrence any more than the selling of drug paraphernalia is new. You
can't look at the ferret ban logically -- it isn't logical. BIG]
