Well, it's official-- Lola was diagnosed with insulinoma yesterday.
She's now on Pred twice a day, and actually seems to like the taste!
She will lick it right off the syringe like a good girl. The vet also
wants me to start giving her duck soup everyday.

Question: Anyone have any good soup recipes specifically for
insulinomics? My usual mixture (baby food, Ensure, Ferretvite, sometimes
baby rice cereal) is more designed to get as many calories as possible
rather than protein. Any new ideas would be great. Also, is insulinoma
actually a cancer? I know it's very common and treatable, but it just
seems so much scarier to think of it that way. Thanks to everyone who
wrote me about Lola's symptoms, I hope everyone and everyfuzz is well.
