Thanks to all of you who wrote about Butch and his reaction to the rabies
vaccination. I thought I would give a short update on how he's doing (I'm
still a mess).

He slept the rest of Saturday and the majority of Sunday. He was
disoriented but wanted to play and run around. He didn't seem to want to
eat but I gave him the Ensure and Pydialite which he gobbled. Also gave
him Ferrevite. I think he felt like a very special little guy with all the
extra attention. I decided to take him back to the vet on Tuesday just to
make sure he was OK. He'd lost a little weight but was fine. Two of the
vet techs had been there on Saturday when it happened and they were so
happy to see how bright eyed and active he was!

I've been reading up on homeopathic medicines for myself and now for the
fuzzies. If anyone has treated their vets with these methods I would love
to hear from you. This is not in place of a vet, my vet is interested in
learning more on the subject too. I'm not treating using the medicines in
place of medical advice from a vet. Just want to learn more as they do
also. Thanks again for your help! Now that this is over I can get caught
up on reading the list!

Connie, Butch, and Maggie (Maggie was fine through the whole thing, just
got pooped on when it first happened.)
