Shea,
 
Your choice of, 8 in 1 is ok, but not great.  Most of us know how difficult
it is to get a fuzzy to eat something new, and you were indeed fortunate to
find a ferret feed that your fuzzy liked.  Unfortunately some people do not
know how to make tactful suggestions....
 
You might try picking up a small bag of 8 in 1 Ultimate and mixing in with
their current food.  Start the mix ratio at 4 to 1 and then over several
weeks, increase the mix level to 1 to 1 and then start decreasing the 8
in 1 leaving only the 8 in 1 Ultimate.  The kids will change no problem
that way.  Just takes time!  Ultimate IS a much better ferret food than
the straight 8 in 1.
 
After you get your kidlets changed to Ultimate, do the same mix adaptation
to any other good ferret food, only, when you get to the 1 to 1 mix, leave
it there for a few weeks, then add a third feed to the mix.  Now, if you
ever run out of a feed, the kids will be acclimated to two other feeds.
 
Just remember, through all the hate mail you got, there is only one Rude
One..and that is me....
