It is so nice to know these kids are getting settled into a pet
environment!

Good work Julianna and volunteers!

This brings shelter intake back distant memories of the several shifts of
lab ferrets to arrive at FerretWise!

Ewok who has passed on but still lives on on our web site - was one of
four in our first lab which arrived at FerretWise in 1995 from MIT. They
were all wiry coated and bright orange the boys especially. Their diet
had been Iams cat & nutrical they looked awful. However once they got
situated in a home environment with suggly beds and plenty of quality
foods, ferretone, exercise etc., they grew gorgeous full coats. Of the
several groups of lab animals we have had over the years all become great
pets and none (other than a female whose spay was just removing the
uterus and not the ovaries) ever endured adrenal problems!

This should be a comfort to those who adopt these kids! The big issue is
in allowing them to learn what a ferrets life can be.

Welcome to your new life kids!
Again Thanks FB of GA for finding a place for these kids!
