It's getting to be that time of year again. HOFA Rescue's annual Ferret
Buckeye Bash and PBS playing the special....FERRETS: "The Pursuit of
Excellence". Yea...lots of ferrets1

The hour long PBS special FERRETS: "The Pursuit of Excellence"
highlights the annual Ferret Buckeye Bash in Columbus, Ohio. It shows
breeders and owners vieing for ribbons, trophies and bragging rights.
There are some fun and amusing interviews that show the truly quirky
ways of all of us ferret people...we are a unique group that all love
our wonderful, unique pets. Mark Lewis, of Radio Pictures is the
Director.

In Columbus, the special is scheduled for Wednesday, June 16 at 9:00pm
on WOSU Plus. I don't know where and when it is showing in other areas
of the country. But check out your local PBS stations for play dates
and times. Search www.pbs.org for your local station. Also, if you
don't get PBS..the DVD is available for sale at PBS.org under
Shop PBS. :>)

This year's Ferret Buckeye Bash is Sat., Aug. 28th at Veteran's
Memorial Hall, downtown Columbus Ohio. Same site..same great show for
all! There's championship judging, specialty judging, lots of vendors,
shelters, breeders awesome raffle, fun events, speakers and lots of
