I am hoping someone may be able to help me with a problem I have had with my
ferret Cadbury. The problem was this: when she went in to be sterilised,
the vet had to remove her uterus, as it was ten times its normal size, and
covered with cysts.

She is about 2 years old, and the previous owner left her in heat for way
way too long. Would this have been what caused the problem with the uterus,
or is there some other reason? If anyone has come across this before, could
they please email me.

  Thanks,
 Wendy
