Okay, lady called me a couple weeks ago, hysterical because her ferret was
having convulsions.  We got it to a vet and all is fine with the ferret.
however, the cause is another issue.
 
A local vet who promotes himself as specializing in ferrets gave this
ferret BOTH the 3Way Dog vaccine AND the 3Way Cat vaccine!  The lady even
told him she heard different and he insisted HE was the vet and knew what
he was doing.  She had been smart enough to request the empty vials so we
have proff.  he also told her this was standard vaccination procedure for
ferrets (argh).  Current problem is: I have tried to talk to him, taken
him handouts, info off the AFA page etc.  I might as well be talking to
the wall, he maintains that information just printed off the internet is
heresay and gives me the poohpah.  Is there any actual "real" as in real
run printings, not just off the net.... research reports or info I can
use to try to talk some sense to this person????
 
AFA??  STAR??  LIFE??  Any of you guys have something *tangiable* I can put
under his nose??  I will glady pay for the copy and shipping if need be,
but please help me stop this idiot before he kills a ferret!!
