Just wanted to take a second to remind everyone that ADV Testing (United
Labs) is available through the Oregon Ferret Shelter.
 
Testing requires your fuzzies nail gets snipped.  It only takes a drop
or two of blood to fill the glass capillary tube.  There is a form that
needs to be filled out with your nformation as well as the fuzzies.
 
The cost is $10.00 for the first ferret, $8.00 each additional ferret.
This fee is submitted directly to United Labs for the testing.  A $5.00
donation is requested to offset the overnight shipping charges.
 
For patient confidentiality, the lab mails the results directly to you
PROVIDING your personal check is attached to the form.
 
There is no fee or profit by the shelter.  Shelter mom does this in the
hopes it will encourage people to have their ferrets tested for ADV.
Remember - ADV Testing IS required for AFA Sanctioned events and shows.
